We are a group personally touched by Autism. Our Autism Spoken Here group is supported by ICB Wesleyana and meets at DeLand Wesleyan Church. We preach by actions and not words. Our support group does not discuss religion and is open to all members of the community with a need. There is no charge to any participants.
Autism Spoken Here provides a round table atmosphere of acceptance, understanding, sharing, educating and fellowship of families with disabled children. We allow families to share experiences, concerns, resources, and support of each other. We search for inner peace and coming to terms with the fact that together we can find an avenue to live successful and productive lives by acceptance and adjustments to shortfalls of disability. We realize that our children have a place in society and together we can find resources for a better quality life.
